Who we are
Hi! Prudent Deals was founded by Christopher Pruden, and it's still run by him, with family pitching in along the way. We're a small business based in Lillington, North Carolina. (Yes, the name is a pun on our last name. We couldn't resist, and it happens to describe how we shop.)
The idea is simple: people love a good deal, and they love finding something that's actually cool, useful, or funny enough to make a friend laugh. Prudent Deals puts a few of those things under one roof, along with a free arcade, because saving money should be a little bit fun.
What we do

Downhill Tommy
Our ski game, Downhill Tommy, is named for Christopher's late big brother, Tommy, who coded the first one. Mount Tommy is named for him too. Every run down that mountain is a little tribute, and we think he'd have liked that people are still playing.
How we make money (and how we don't)
We'll sell our own Pine Fever apparel, and some links in our deals and guides are, or may become, affiliate links that can earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. The Prudent Promise: purchases from partner stores
When you click a deal on our site and buy from one of our partner stores, that store sells it, ships it and handles returns. But you're not on your own.
If you have trouble with an order, email [email protected] and we'll personally help you contact the store and push for your refund. And if we still can't make it right, we'll send you a free Prudent Deals thank-you gift, just for sticking with us.
Good to know: purchases from partner stores are subject to that store's return policy. Prudent Deals doesn't sell or ship those items, so any refund comes from the store you bought from, not from us.
